What worries me there is that you can see him pegging himself back, I'm not his biggest fan but you can sense what he said there was from the heart.

Worried, very worried indeed by the result and what I've just watched.

A lot of people have had a go at Marwan over the last couple of years (including me) but Brian McD must be the highest profile RL man to have such a serious pop. Makes you wonder what Marwans reaction will be.

I don't believe so. But Salford contain the likes of BJB and Hauraki who played under McDermott so he'll have heard stuff I'm sure even if it's through his players hearing stories from former teammates.

I tried to tell you on here what happened in the dressing room at Hull KR and some of the stuff happening to players at your club such as Balliffs turning up and the Paterson family being close to deportation thanks to the club not getting him the correct Visa sorted. 25 players and staff were in that dressing room Harris will get the payout to end all payouts otherwise he will go to the old bill. Did you not twig when he started saying nice things about Iestyn whilst he was on 'sick'.

The place is a mess and as someone has already said players talk and so do coaches.

Sheens will be gone in a flash when he realises what is happening.

It is such a shame because I have always wanted Salford to succeed. No silly point scoring here, just stating truths and as I said before, come on Marwan, take me to court and say this is not the case.

Its a never ending soap opera,its just a recurring record. But Marwan is his own boss and will prevail..

For the first few years, I thought I got it, it was a PR exercise to get some headlines and build up a club with no profile. But now it seems to be more a reflection of who he actually is.

Sad really as with a bit less mouthing off he could have been more than just the man to save Salford from financial ruin.

Person who also told me about the dressing room incident just after the KR game, said Rangi had submit a transfer request.
After the comments of him talking to a fans at last weeks game about how the club treat people this rings very true.
I think Marwan really needs to take a step back, heed Brian Macs comments and readdress the way he is running our great club.
With all the speculation, rumours and players / staff talking for the life of me I cannot see anyone wanting to join our club, unless money driven.
Unfortunately I fear the damage is done and it will take a very long time to recover from the past 3 years, especially while Marwans so involved.

It's not too late dirk, IF sheens stays, and IF marwan backs off, and keeps backing til he doesn't get involved at all in the day to day, then we could have a great chance. Otherwise, I fear we are doomed. again

The rest of Rugby league see our once great club as a Joke and I have heard that half the current squad can't wait to get away and if we do get relegated their wish will happen. I have not heard any of them say what a fantastic organisation to be apart of and I agree. For Gods sake Marwan shut up you are destroying us.

As somebody said on Twitter we did really well to come back against HKR last week so what's changed in a week ?

Unfortunately there is only one man who realistically can sort it out. He seems the type of man who wants to prove the haters wrong however he clearly isn't learning from his mistakes. Any sensible rugby league man would not have the club in its current position having spent so much money. If he continues to invest, keeps his mouth shut more often, leaves recruitment to Tim Sheens and whoever Sheens wishes to listen to and employs someone with marketing expertise (ie someone who has the skills of the late Peter Deakin RIP) we have a chance.

If he doesn't sort himself out we will no have no team and no ground!

I think that is part of the problem with some of your current squad. Certainly doesn't seem much resolve/pride based on last nights result and many players leaving mid season also suggests lack of real enthusiasm for Salford.

I thought that he was a GP from St Helens.

Tim Sheens on Radio Manchester this Thursday thought that it is a good thing that people are keeping RL in the news...I think in your owners case you definitely can have too much of a good thing. However, I don't think that it's McDermott's position to comment

The really bloody tragic thing about all this is that if you genuinely are a rugby league fanatic with a bottomless money pit the route to success isn't rocket science. Have a bit of patience, take time to put the right people in at the top*, sign the cheques, stay out of the changing room. Instead we've got a duffer from the council in on a dodgy deal and an owner who tarts about on social media like a hormonal One Direction fan. Does anyone still think this is going to end well?
