Not going to happen. Both teams already have to arrange games and why should fc be penalised, use your academy players! Plus your banned players who are ruled out on Friday would be free no doubt to play us later

No chance Hull will agree to this in a million years and I don't blame them. They're desperate for 2 points and this one is on a plate for them, even after their poor start.

Our situation is beyond a joke though and for me unprecedented in Super League. I understand after yesterday our injury and suspension list as follows;

And

Suspended; Rangi Chase, Weller Hauraki and Cory Paterson.

On a side note, enjoyed my day out at Salford Yesterday. your team played with a great Siege, against the odds mentality and if you'd have took a point or won there would've been no complaints from me.

Definitely. It's unlikely the game would be abandoned either even if we just took 13 players over and experienced a load of injuries during the game:

That's still a distinct possibility.

The injuries aren't unprecedented. We had 12-13 missing a couple of years ago when London beat us at their place.

I think it is by 4 players rather than to four players to be honest. So if you ended up with 8 players on the pitch the game would be called off from there.

Embarrassing from Salford to ask for this. Nothing unprecedented about your injury 'crisis' at all. You should still have 13 first team players available and only need four from the academy system.

bad enough that this has been requested. Worse still that the club have done it so publicly. A private call to the RFL and Pearson at Hull could have made it clear if this was going to happen.

The need for some senior people at Salford to continually go public is tiresome. Supporters deserve better than this twaddle.

Well I wouldn’t be at all embarrassed if it was postponed, I would however be relieved. It’s certainly worth the question and just because others haven’t had the foresight to do so in the past, it’s tough luck.

For what it’s worth I don’t think it will be postponed and if I was Hull FC I would quite rightly decline the request. They’re in dire need of 2 points and this game is just what they need at the moment.

It'd be interesting if Hull said yes, however we'd like it so the suspended players weren't picked when the fixture is actually played.

Not going to happen. Wakey could have done it weeks ago, been down to bare bones due to injuries. You have to play with what youve got.

We all know it's a crisis but let's just get on with it. I hope Hull say no which they will! Bring in the kids it will do them good playing with a few older heads.

Can we not just play the whole (of the rest of the) academy team and put the whole first team squad in a big f-off oxygen tent for the rest of the week?
