Fantastic signing, a really good player. Our back row is looking freakishly strong now with Hauraki, Hock, Hansen and Paterson all no doubt fitting into the 17.

Bearing in mind we also had the likes of Graham, Roby and Fa'asavalu coming off the bench, I think that pack would take some beating now we're in the salary cap era. You also need to remember this was in 2006 when the likes of Wilkin, Gilmour, Anderson etc were playing very well.

It's pointless bringing him over now. Let him have Christmas with the family and bring him over afterwards, he's recently just fought over in Oz so he'll be tip-top condition.

I wouldn't let anyone leave, one thing is for sure with Hansen, Hauraki and Hock they'll all spend some time out of the first team through injury or suspension and you cant expect Puletua and Mozza to be fit for the majority of the season.

It's blatantly obvious the bloke didn't enjoy Hull, however Salford will be totally different proposition for him. It sounds like a little time out of the game has got the fire and appetite back in his stomach. Only a one-year deal too, so hardly a disaster if it doesn't work out.

That's one monster pack and a few in reserve. Big question is will they all want it enough?

TBF you are right about the 2nd point, 9 overseas players in very disappointing and I would be saying the same if we had that many at my club (personally I feel 7 we have is too many).

I also can't believe there is a fan who is claiming that you have the best pack in SL over the last 15 years, I don't think you have the best pack for next years SL, I'd take Wigans pack over yours anyday of the week, younger, more motivated and not weak at hooker unlike Salford.

I think the guy who suggested we have the best pack ever was just a troll. But we do have a good pack. Its not as good as the top 6 teams packs but its impressive for what we're used to.

Our pack has good potential but we should know from experience it's all about delivering on the field every week and not just having what looks like an impressive team sheet.

He was pretty poor for us, (HKR) didn't seem in a good place despite Sandercock being a mentor to him at The Knights.

Seems a bit of a strange signing, I don't wish him any lll though, hope he goes well for you.

Imo the quality of the league worsens every year so to bring back players like Dobbo Locke Cory is good for super league.
