I’ve been in the East Stand for the second-half of Salford’s home matches and I’ll be moving back into the South Stand for next year. Crap view but hopefully we’ll have something more to shout about and I can’t be doing with watching Salford sitting down.

What are you planning to do?

Probably South again as I like to stand up and shout a lot, I don't think I'd get away with either in the East/West.

Renewed for the South stand myself and a couple of lads I know who've attended games on and off this year have also signed up for season tickets for the South stand also.

You'd hope that when it has been embellished with some more Salford friendly decor that it might feel more homely if you know what I mean. Watching the NRL the other day Freddy Fittler was on the sidelines at a South Sydney game and he said that they had some piped noise that then encouraged the fans to interact with it, maybe the way to go if it could be just channeled into the stand.

I’m going for the West.

I’ve always stood in the Shed and now the South Stand because a) I prefer standing and b) look a good sing, but the view of the game is absolutely awful and I don’t think I could handle it for another season. I could possibly overlook it, if the atmosphere was half decent, but even that is poor these days.

Id like to say standing in the east stand, make it the shed again, and move the seats to the south, but i cant see that happening yet.

So its south stand for me , when i can get there, not very often on a fri nite, so sundays a lot better for me.

Also not on facebook so cant do a poll there, and dont attend forever reds meetings, for the same reason i cant make many fri, nite matches, WORK,, ive either got to be day of on fri or book the day of, pus i cant do early start on sat either if i can make the match fri nite, and early star t for me is before 6am.

West stand for us,good seats,excellent view and decent fans around us.

West stand for me for the 3rd time. its by far the best view in the stadium and after 2 years have got to know the people around me now, and it actually starts to get going in the close matches.

I don’t think that’ll work here. Aussie spectators are comparatively dispassionate. I remember when crowd noise used to be pipped through to the North Stand’s JBLs at The Willows, and was given the same reception as a nob gag at a feminist rally.

The east stand which gets a handful of spectators per game needs to become the "new shed". I know costs will be incurred but the seats need ripping out and placing in the south stand. The place lacks atmosphere and I think being nearer the away support and having a decent view will only improve the place. I always opt for the South stand for the atmosphere but like most other posts, the view is really poor.

I'm in the West. As much as I prefer to stand to watch the game I just can't take a full season behind the sticks. Also got some good people around us who we have a laugh with every game.

She's actually been in the South stand I think for most of this season.

One to really think about, the east stand could easily be the best for us fans if the seats were removed, I'm sure this won't happen and the more vocal fans will be stuck behind the posts where to be frank you don't have a clue whats going on at the other end.

I want to stand but I want to see the game, the west stand has fantastic views, to be honest for me it will probably come down to price more than anything else.

Unfortunately the West stand at best, the South at worst. IF Marwan can get a stake in the stadium then as has been said the East stand turned into standing would be the ideal option. It's still a crime it was never built as standing in the first instance as any Shed dweller knows!

Widnes fans didn't seem to struggle to create an atmosphere behind the posts on Friday?

Keeping the thread on track I'll be in east again. Unreserved seating and cheaper than the west stand.

The South is more than capable of producing a good atmosphere, but how many people who use to reside in the Shed now sit elsewhere (i.e the east or west) because of the view? Turn the middle of the East into standing ASAP!

Just got a text from her sayin " Tell them on the Turkey, I have paid for a West Stand ticket, but stand in the South Stand with my friends as the West Stand is too quiet, but next year I may go back to my seat in the West because of the view"

Ah ye I forgot you could do that? Ye the view is good from where we sit, it's quiet but I'd take that over a crap view any day.

It will never happen, but if it was up to me.

I would create a space in the centre of the east stand for standing.

Give all the blue seats to oldham if Koukash gets control of the club (Oldham FC).

Me and my son will be renewing our seats in the West Stand. Some good people around us and a brilliant unobstructed view. I tried out the South stand for the 2nd half against Widnes but the view I had there did little to encourage me to want to go back there. Having said that, I do miss standing in the shed and the great atmosphere that was generated there.
