Family on the Board.

If this is true, it would make sense if the current board held off going into admin to see the outcome of the Bulls situation. They would then know what fate they would have.

The reason behind this post is to urge supporters of our club to demand a meeting with The Club, We want answers and transparency!

I view your post as one with genuine concerns but slightly suspicious as to whether the family member on the board wants things disclosed and why,as a board member,they themselves have not taken any course of action ie. resigning if not happy,or being proactive in changing things.


1) If the club is heading into administration why are they paying creditors as recently as a couple of weeks ago ?
2) As someone attempting to uproot in the current economic climate even affordable housing isn't affordable.
There doesn't appear to be any 'intention' on entering administration - see points 1)and 3)
3) My understanding of the word 'fleecing' would allow the money to be reclaimed either through the courts or other means.
4) If the numbers aren't going to work they certainly weren't going to work in January.A sign of improvement.
5) I would suggest that if it is the case that paid employees are not doing their job they should at least be 'made redundant'.Why has the board,and your family member,not acted on this ?

I find your allegations very difficult to believe and if I were your family member on the Board I would be very upset by the post.

I don't think everything in the garden is rosy at Salford, but I don't think things are as bad as many posters make out. We tend to lose sight of the fact that we now have a team on the field that is starting to shake off the years of McRae stagnation and starting to play an attractive brand of rugby.

Lets not turn on each other were all here because we love our club, who else is concerned about recent reports and developments? Ask yourself why would I post this if not out of concern for what is about to happen to my club. I invite constructive debate , were all in the same boat surely. Im angry at how the mismanagement of our club has allowed us to become embedded in such a mess.

IF this is anywhere near the truth and we are about to fall into a hole 1st I would like to applaud the club for their leap of faith us fans always ask for the club to show ambition and unfortunately have been let down by the people of salford who failed to back up the promise of build a better stadium and I will come

If we do go back to the willows as a championship team then so be it, part time rugby (if we are going to die slowly then let's make it real slow no point in being full time if there is no ambition to be a superleague club again imo) no point in trying to market it as family friendly as if people are not gong to a shiney family friendly comfy stadium they arnt going to come to the willows.

It was bad enough 1 season in the championship watching poor rugby infront of 1000 people but for all eternity na not for me, I've always dreamed that one day we will compete at the top level this step back (well its not a step more of a marathon) shows both on and off the field we lack ambition no promotion no relegation no chance of a franchise as its shown their isn't enough interest then

Right, so we are concerned that the club is about to implode.

If so, how does one go about that?

Thanks NMD, How do we get involved, Maybe a public letter of concern in Local paper to John Wilky,The Board and Supporters. We express our concern about recent reports of Financial Difficulties that may result in our license being revoked, Proposals for Raising enough cash to sustain us until the end of the financial year ?
Are we able to sell players to inject cash ie, Holdsworth?
What will happen if we were to enter administration?
