I am here actully and yes i did here the news but i will just wait till i actully see builders on the site starting work before i am satisfide we here this all the time. I have supported the club for years and just fed up with rugby in genral i just dont agree with the franchise which is makeing clubs take on new stadiums when they dont get the support to pay for it. I have my reasons to be angry with the club and wont go into them and as a fan am intitled to an opinion. And i say what i see so i reserve all jugement till builders are in and working. there is not even a posting for it on club site which you would think club to let its fans know so i wait till i see builders.

our woodwork fans will have seen that news and thought it might be on, all we need is a strong start to this season and they will come flooding back as its easy to support a club who has a vision for the future and is going forward, i long for the day when we have a regular 2k away following and with a bit of success (not neccesarlly winning trophies but win twice as much as we lose for example) and id be happy for them to come can you image the noise we could make

I just long for the day it gets started after what seems like countless false dawns.... if only to stop people asking me 'so what's happening with this stadium then ?'... taxi drivers... workmates... people I bump into whilst in Tesco shopping... Rugby U***n fans...I can't get away from the question and get asked at least a couple of times a week. I've got to the point where I just tell them I have no idea now (which to be fair I don't think many of us have had any real idea for years).

Lets just get it built.

I'll only be satisfied when I see foundations going in... we've cleared land before and all that's done is grow back.

I can understand your scepticism but I can't see Peel and the Council commiting themselves to several million in land remediation costs not to build on it. Yes previously there was some site clearing of vegitation but the ground remediation work is much more extensive and will take a few months to complete.

Just been on the councils website and noticed that the application for Outline Planning permission for the stadium has gone back to the status of "pending consideration".This application was passed last week along with permission for the remedial work.Can anyone enlighten me as to what is happening?
