In todays paper it says we have signed Michael Platt, but i cant find it anywhere else anyone else heard anything as i think this signing would be taking a backwards step

Platt is very much a confidence player, if he has it he's amazing, if he doesn't, he's not fit for the pennine league


He wouldn't be one i'd be disappointed to lose.

And of course the added benefit of having Platt is the wealth of rhyming slang that comes as part of the package.

He's had some very good games, but also some very, very bad games. Looked a lot better when in the centre position.. I feel not many Bull's supporters will be unhappy to see him go..That tells its own story I'm afraid, but good luck to him if he does come to you, a very likeable person..

Depends whether you were a Salford fan watching him kissing the 'Bulls' emblem on his shirt in the play-offs game in 2006 after scoring his 1st try. Totally unnecessary!
Not impressed with this signature in the slightest. As already mentioned, he is a 'confidence' player. What 'confidence' is he gonna have at the Willows. A club with s0d all money, poor fan base, a club that seemingly couldn't run a bath since Trish left, a dead shed, average playing squad and an overriding feeling of being in limbo with regards to the future... Sure there are other players out there that could bring a positive culture into the playing squad without becoming victims of a pre-existing feeling around the club. (Robbie Paul, despite his inability to contribute to many wins due to age will have certainly brought a feel good factor to training. A positive and forward thinking attitude which is highly influential on anybody who is receptive. Another player with similar qualities would be far more beneficial in the short term as well as the long.)

our original youth product yep, he wasnt the greatest / didnt recieve the right coaching or protection during his 1st stint here.

He finished his development elsewhere and i feel he is a better player now than if he had stayed.
If he does sign im sure he'll want to right a few wrongs plus it will be good news for jezza smith as the crowd can get on somebody elses back now instead
