| So Far!
Seeing as the Scarlet Turkey player of the year is taking a sabbatical , I thought I'd pose the question, who at this stage of the season has been your player(s) of the year so far.
So have a vote above and then tell us your top 3
Mine for the record are;
No 1: Richie Myler
No 2: Luke Adamson
No 3: Luke Swain

| Well, from what i've seen, mind are:-
1. Mal Alker
2. Ritchie Myler
3. Luke Adamson
Mal has been a true leader this year, and has come back stronger than ever. After a "strange" pre season, back firing on all cylinders.
Ritchie and luke are showing that, if we can keep hold of them, the future is red and white.

3. Ratchford
was unsure about my number 3 but I think ratchford has played well out of position and has not let us down so I went for him. The top two were easy for me.

You not a fan of Swain JJ? I think he's been superb, one of those unsung heroes that every club has, puts his body on the line week in week out he doesn't miss and that charge down against Wire late one and bearing in mind he'd been knocked out in the first few minutes of that match, that's the kind of player I want to see.
Quote ="Ewwenorfolk"Bit early eh?'"
No and if you'd have read the thread fully you would see the words "[iso far[/i", therefore Howe can in be early?
I'll explain why I've asked the question in the first place (For those hard of thinking), every year since, well I don't know when, we here on the ST have after every match ran a man of the match poll, the points of which which are tallied up at the end of the season and the winning player is award the Scarlet Turkey Player of the year Trophy, however, this year we have suspended the said polls somewhat thus the question I have asked. Ok?

| Top three so far would have to be;
1. Adamson
2. Alker
3. Myler
This order because I feel a good team is built on defence and my first two have been immense.
(Swain would be 4th)

3. Cashmere
After a poor start to the season I really think Cashmere is coming into his own, the lad gets through some work and some of his offloads are sheer class.

Top 2 are very close between Myler and Adamson - Myler just shades it. Stapo would probably come very slightly after Cashmere for me as well.

| Gone for LouLou as invariably when he comes off he hasnt got Stapleton and Cashmere in thefront row with him but still manages to punch holes, I honestly think that he is one ofthe best imports for many years as he is so dependable and a grafter.

| mine is strange
stapo
paul
myler
stapo because he puts 100% in every game
why paul, well it's because he's been such a consistant player until now he's helped nearly all the new lads, he's been the face of salford reds all season more than the captain and the club captain, and he nearly got that try at murrayfield
myler tthird, he's fast, young and iinexperianced and it shows, yes he scores but i have a terrible feeling he is going to burn out
