Anyone know exactly when our 2011 squad/squad number's are likely to be announced as I know they have been submitted to the RFL just not released to the public? I know a few players numbers already just curious on the rest really.

I don't have the answer as to when they'll be released or even what they'll be but thinking about it the back line, I would think, should be fairly straight forward however the pack could be interesting, a few decisions to be made there I suppose, You'd expect Cashmere and Leo-Latu to take 8 & 9, but who gets the number 10 shirt, Jewitt, Neal, Palea'asina, Boyle or Sidlow? The second row (11 & 12), Adamson, Anderson or Bailey. I know squad numbers don't always add up as certain players will want certain numbers for luck/personal reasons but it could give us an indication as to our starting line-up.

Makes sense to me, I hope Lee can have an injury free season, I think he's going to have a big part to play.

I'd have put Boyle in before Parker , based on last years performances,

Every season I think this will be Lee Jewitts season, I hope it's this season .

good squad that plenty of depth in certain posistions nice to see some home grown players in there aswell hopefully they will get a chance. are the club looking at bringing in another hooker or using the young player owen as back up hooker

There was speculation regarding McShane from Leeds but that appears to have died off, Malc said that Owen was making great progress and will feature but it wouldn't surprise me if Matty Smith played quite a bit at Hooker (or at least moves there when Latu is spelled) and Stef moves to the half back role at times next season.

dont see TOBY ADAMSON and ADAM CLAY in the squad, what number are they?

It was in this weeks Rugby Leaguer that Toby Adamson has been offered a trial with wigan as he was on a pay as you play deal at the reds.

Toby has been allocated the No 26 Jersey. I for one think he will be one of the most exciting up and coming talents of 2011 considering he was the stand out youth players of last season.

Good lines, Strong tackler, quick hands, and if anything like Luke a good workhorse in defence. Hope he gets a run out against Leigh, woo hoo

And with regards to Wigan's Interest, I think if he develops well at Salford I can see him being a player that would fit there style of strong fast forward play. I think he's defiantly a talent they'll be keeping a close eye on.

Have been told that Gleeson will have a starting number 3 or 4, Ratchford keeps number 6 and Holdsworth has got 7. also have been told that Gibson hasnt got a contract with us yet, not sure if this true about gibo though.

I'm starting to lose patience a little now. I'd like to see our squad on paper on the clubs website ? What's the hold up? All other clubs have there's up?

perhaps we have a signing in the pipeline and dont want to distribute the numbers till its sealed?
