I won't believe anything until it's offically announced. The thing I find odd is why would anyone not just Carney sign a contract with us as the moment with the tribunal hanging over us. I'd have thought they'd be advised to wait until the outcome of that was known.

Well, we're in the best position to sign him, due to this temporary loan arrangement. But what pleases me, is that he's decided to stay instead of the rumoured Wigan offer. So this tells me that behind the scenes, there must have been a huge Seachange of protocols introduced by Sheens, Koukash Etc...which no doubt attracted Carney's decision to stay, whereas historically, players couldn't wait to get away from us.
The future obviously looks bright with this coup of a signing he's dipped his toes in the water and decided to dive in. Definitely, a good sign of what's coming I feel.

TBH I can see Budgie signing back from The Roosters, I know its early days but he's hardly busting a gut and getting 1st Grade footy is he, which seems wasting for both parties. Wigan will have an eye on him no doubt.

It doesnt mean talks and enquiries didnt take place.

I said he'd signed for Salford and it has proven true. End of.

And Wigan. Why post without first reading the Salford article, A host of other clubs were after his signature, meaning he had dialogue with a host of other clubs. Meaning Leigh and Wigan were probably conversing too.
