Walton should 100% be given a chance. One thing for certain he puts in the effort, that's all anyone can ask. McB needs either playing on the wing or sending out on loan as a centre!!

As I mentioned in another post. MCB should definitely be dropped for the next match. If I was Harris I would have Martin Gleeson out on the field with MCB teaching him how to defend.

It may also be worth having Martin show him some old videos of him playing for Great Britain against the Aussies.

I felt for Josh Griffin and MCB last Thursday, they were exposed on numerous occasions because of the huge amount of space Saints had to attack our line with. If Harris is to continue with this Wigan-esque 3 men in a tackle type defending, then they need to be a) holding the man down for longer, b) making sure they’re in an onside position following the tackle and c) getting up to their feet much quicker.

I lost count how many times following the PTB we had 3 defenders out of the defensive line, which allowed Saints to ship the ball along the line with some quick hands and make a 10, 15, 20 metres plus break downfield.

I read some criticism of Griffin on this forum after Thursday. I did not want to react until checking his stats. I feel the Warrington match had a lot to do with it (and that we had to support oir full back with another back).

I read the other day that Justin Hodges fancies a crack at SL next season, I'd rather let Locke go too Scottish RU (if that story is correct, and let Evalds make the position his own) and see if we could get him here this year.

Sa'u and Hodges in the middle, now that would be fearsomely powerful.

The Hodges story is actually referring to after his next two years at Brisbane, so the 2017 season. He'll be 34 by then. He coudl lose a lot of his potency in that time.
