On the subject of Child on Sunday, he had a decent game. I read a few Wakefield fans complaining about getting pinged in the first half for penalties and how unfair it was but they were well deserved with their constant holding down and slowing down at the play the ball. In the second half when they put on the pressure, we started to make the same mistakes and were rightly penalised for it.

There are more ways to commit an offence when defending than when attacking, so most penalties will be conceded when you haven't got the ball. It's probably one of the reasons we seemed to lose the penalty count in most games last season, and why the better teams always appear to concede fewer penalties.

My apologies it's this predictive texting malarkey won't do it again...

Re Childs - He had a good game on Sunday and I will always remember our win @ Headingley when we won a few years ago & he completely ignored the fervent Loiners misguided appeals every few seconds.
