Ditto. I could be wrong here with my dates but I also remember a couple of belters against Hull and Catalan around the same time? It was like watching a Matt Le Tissier MOTD goal of the month compilation! I'd have loved to have seen Jodie in a Salford shirt next season as he deserves to play outside a quality centre. I might be tempted to have a couple of quid each way on him for SL top try scorer next year.

I'm also struggling to think of a quicker Salford winger in the 23 years I've been watching the mighty Red Devils.

It's a refreshing change to read a thread about a player thats leaving without reading about all the faults people think that player has in his game. It seems a common trend by supporters of all clubs on forums to pick holes in players that are leaving isn't it? Too old, too slow, too small, terrible defence, not creative enough, terrible under a high ball, poor discipline etc.

Anyway I wish Jodie all the best and hope it goes well at the Giants for him.

If Jodie would have been at a top 4 team in the past few years he might have been a GB/England regular.
