True. In yesterday's printed article of the paper it said Smith had arrived from Australia and was at todays game. In todays MEN online article about Gaskell's signing it mentions in the article that Smith 'was expected' at the Huddersfield game.
Make your own conclusions but it now looks to me like Mr Barker could have have got his wires crossed.
