Got told by a reporter friend that the Doctor is to embark on a trip Down Under very shortly. Wonder if he'll bring back the new coach?

I would suspect that he has a person in mind to take over as soon as possible, so it won't be Tim Sheens. Any avaliable ex NRL coach will now be mentioned until the new coach is annouced. Its going to be interesting for sure.

Would hope it's Smith and that it gets sorted sooner rather than later, the fact that we are meant to have a couple of very decent signings lined up but are waiting for the new coach to be approached shows we are doing things the right way first of all but also slightly exasperating that we need quality and we need it now.

McNamara did sign Steve Menzies and other former NRL players to Bradford and also followed Noble into the head coach position at Bradford.
I think the contract with England ends after the World Cup.

Ellery Hanley was very popular as a player in Australia,and he could attract players to this country from Down Under.

Sheens and Anderson may also recommend coaches currently in this country.
