Hi fellas, how long a walk is it from the Eccles car park? I have an OAP with me (he might get a game the way we are playing!) and don't want to force march him 20 mins in the rain. If its more than a 5 min walk I think I will opt for the Trafford Centre P&R option.

It's a fair walk, i would say 10 - 15 mins.
Probably best at the Trafford Centre, the bus gets priority after the game too.

Thanks for the advice fella. That's made my mind up, but I'm a bit nervous about taking the Mrs close to all those shops, could cost me a small fortune.

What a complete shambles the car park continues to be. As we walked up stadium way or whatever its called. There were 2 stewards stopping cars which then drove up to another steward who then asked if they had a ticket. The amount of cars having to turn round after being told they couldn't pay was ridiculous. One answer I heard was the steward telling the driver " well its been on the internet all week and we put flyers on the cars last week" at least they were then directed to the airport.
What I don't understand is why they were allowed to have to drive further up and not re directed by the first 2 stewards? I think.the club realy need to get on top of this with the smc. They could potentially be the thing what stops people ever coming back.

That's without mentioning the crap on the field today

P&R was a good option (eventually), nice chat with a couple of your fans on the bus, pleasant chaps. The only downside was the traffic, it seemed every man and his dog was heading for the Trafford Centre today. Why?

Anyway, thanks for the hospitality fellas, you have a nice (if a little soulless) ground, we could do with a couple of stands like those over at CP. Best of luck for the rest of the season. Weather & ref ruined the game as a spectacle.
