Fantastic effort by the boys today,going into the game thought we would struggle,with the injurys we picked up against leeds,full credit to the 17 that took the field,everyone gave there all,played some real quality football,and with great confidence,nice to see.i have to mention one player that stood out again for me,luke patten,every game this season, is finally showing the world class player we signed last season.

But hope you still take my point on board. Would rather see a side playing like you did in the playoffs, so I hope (and I'm pretty sure you wont) let this win go to your head. Lots of work for both sides still but even after that defeat I think both fans can hope for better fortunes come play-off time.

You know your teams played well when they're clapped off by oppo fans. Stayed to clap off every one of your lads as they thoroughly deserved it.

Its like a snowball running down a hill. The more success a club has , the more they have to keep on buying better players , and so the wage bill keeps on going up. The first time they dont win the cup or the league, prize money falls off , you lose a few thousand off the gate etc and you are on the slippery slope financial problems. A similar thing to Widnes a few years ago..
