Earlier this year we defeated both Hull KR and Catalans consecutively and in impressive fashion. The game following the Catalans game proved to be a real let down. Whilst literally beaming with confidence heading into it, the players forgot all about the work ethic and focus required and (sports psych term coming up) became ego-centric... I really hope that the players get back to enjoying a high and precise work load in training this week and enter next week's clash with Cas with a task focused rather than ego based approach.

Cas is a game that we should be winning at home if we are to make the 8, but I can't remember the last time we won 3 games in a row in the top flight. Maybe the beginning of 2006? So I'm not counting my chickens, I'm just enjoying the feeling of waking up on a Monday morning on the back of a great win!!
