We both lived on Weaste Lane, went to Hope High played for the School one year apart, both played for Langworthy ARLFC, then the other went on to play for Salford St.Helens Great Britain and in a challenge cup final at Wembley.
Cannot understand though why this is done before the game. What is the point in getting these legends along when hardly anyone is there. Would be much better done at half time.
