| I thought we matched them for around 70 mins, with only the start of each half where we looked a bit asleep. Very impressed with the efforts last night, and thought we did really well in not giving many penalties away.

| I think it is a bit soon to say that we played better as McRae wasnt there, it was though a encouraging performance as they seemed to play with a bit more pride. Patten played well going forward but we will lose Ratchford at the end of the season unless someone pulls their finger out.
What really concerns me about last night and the last season in general are Adamson and Sidlow. Adamson seems to be going backwards there is no snap or promise that he will break a tackle as when he he first broke through. Sidlow is altogether different I dont think he will ever make it as he just doesn't seem to have the mentality, he is just as big and fast as for example Joel Tomkins or Harrison Hansen but runs as if he doesn't want to get hurt.

| long time no post, missed l;ast season due to work , hope to make a few more this, made last nite, a few comments from me for what they are worth,
agree with most of what had been said, , couple of things i did notice, the fowards sum not all dont appear to be fit, , i know its early season blah blah , but sum were blowing that hard they looked to be at the end of the season not the begining,, Adamson n sidlow are not putting the effort in and need to step up a few gears and look intrested all the time not just when it suits them,
poor cashmere was out on his feet put in a lot of effort but to long on the pitch,
paleasema is not our sort of player im afraid, we cant afford to have him just do 10 mins at the most second half and he didnt do much more first half,, we are not that sort of team who can use a player like him, what we need is another player in the cashmere mode, a good solid go foward player who can play for for 20 30 mins each half, and makes an impact when he cumes on,
i think parker played is guts out last nite, i just hope a few of the younger forwards cud play with his engery.
as for the backs well done , but we still need to tighten up on our defence near our own line, to much going to sleepand not watching the game, ie there last 2 tries,
hope we can sort out a contract with ratchford before its 2 late, we have lost 2 many youngsters over the last couple of seasons for one reason or another,
good luck for the rest of the season , get the defence rite, we can score the tries we showed that last nite.

| Pattern's pass for Nero's try last night was nothing short of world class. Play with the same commitment as we did last night, not saying we will beat Leeds but we always score points, we could push them all the way. Some of the offloading on another day will stick in the receivers hands then the confidence will come to play attractive rugby we all crave. Last night showed exactly where we are against the champions, and we were not that far off. The signs look good and the team looks like it's beginning to gel. We gave it our all last night and the fans showed their appreciation with the applause they got as they came of the pitch. Hope Leeds underestimate us.
