| When I read this in the BBC this afternoon I nearly posted this exact thread.
Got to say he is just about the best ball playing British prop over the past 10 years and if his injury fears were behind him i'd take him in a heartbeat but not sure if he's had a bone disease the rigures of SL as a prop would be the best thing for him.
Maybe on a pay as you play deal, though i'd definately think that he is a top quality coach in waiting just a wee bit down the road and worthy of getting involved behind the scenes.

| A few years ago Scully number two in a Salford shirt would have been a major coup. Now? When was the last time he even played? If there's room on the salary cap and we don't have anymore possibles lined up, plus we got him on pay per play contract, it couldn't hurt. Or, maybe, we could put him on a player coach type contract. As previously suggested.

| As already said, if he was to get a contract on "pay as you play" he is maybe worth a punt, but otherwise NO.
Willie Talau was very unfortunate with his injuries, but it still meant he had to be paid & dont think he came cheap, so we certainly didnt get value for money from him. I know injuries can happen to any player, but Sculthorpe is injury prone, could end with the same scenario as Talau.
