What would people on here say are the best curry houses in the Salford area?

Usually go to the one in Eccles town centre which is ok but fancy trying out some new places.

I remember going in the Passage when it first open, food was very good, but i was still hungry when i came out because the portions were small.
I now am back at the Balti top road in Swinton, large portions and free drinks, once got drunk in the take away bit during Ramadam, the chefs went off to pray and Mr Khan kept me going by plying me with free drinks until they came back from prayers.

I tend to reserve Turkey Curry for the days immediately after Christmas?!



And curry with Scarlet Turkey in it definitely can't be good - surely if it's scarlet, it's under-cooked?!

I walked to Eastern Tandoori tonight, got me a take away! Quality! Chaz wont deliver because he respects that place too much as a restaruant! Shame but he's damn right. The place should be full every night!

I'm up for filling the place with you scarlet muppets, just let me know when an me, me biatch and me dottre will be there!

Ended up in the Balti last night had a wonderful samber, still burning this morning, but the place used to be packed on a Saturday night I think it was less than half full.

Cottage Tandoori in Walkden for me . otherwise it has to be Akbars in Castlefield.
