Just as I was getting into the habit of watching/recording the games every weekend they are going to turn it into a subscription service. Have they learned nothing from the failure of Setanta? When you already pay a hefty sports subscription to sky, who is going to pay yet another subscription to watch NRL? Not many, imho.

It's not going to be that much though I heard maybe £6 a month to have untold NRL, bargain in my book they can't continue to just give it away for nowt, simple ecomonics for me if push comes to shove the movies go to compensate (there cr_p anyway).

I watch the games religiously and have been catching up on the games recorded from the last two weekends as I have been away. Last weeks North Queensland - Cronulla and NZ - Sydney games were amazing finishes. NRL beats super league every time for me.

I will be prepared to pay the subscription but when the NRL finishes in September I will want to cancel until the 2011 season so a look at the terms and conditions is a priority. What will this channel have to offer in the winter months of interest to rugby league followers?
