i know a lot of rugby players who play professionally and they cannot say anything till september , but beleive me , last season i called the board for the players they had signed , i will not be doing this season , when i say they are in the market for top class players they are ,i personally know one of the players who will be wearing the famous red shirt and he has told me ,that he has agreed terms with salford for next season , all will be revealled soon , in the evening news

From the list of ex players Jordan Turner would be welcolmed by me but I cannot see it happening. I will be interested to see how he develops in the Hull side. Although Hull produce a lot of very good players they often stand still. Likes of King, Cooke, Horne, Yeaman could and should have been in the GB squad in recent years. Perhaps Turner should return now we are in a recruitment drive
