Quote ="John Charnock"I think it would be fairer to replace the words "Martin Offiah represents" with "agents represent". Offiah was only doing what any other agent would do - maximising the amount of money he could get for himself and his client. It's a job, and he did it (and is laughing all the way to the bank).'"
Correct. McRae himself admits in the week's League Express that the Myler deal was done months before it was announced. FWIW I think the 'largest contract offer to a Salford player EVER' was just empty rhetoric to pacify the fans, and I think Offiah is happy to make himself the pantomime villain of the whole deal as it takes the heat off Richie.
All agents are as bad Offiah gets it worse because of his profile in the game (and his, uh, dreadful, uh, pundit, uh, work).
