I know this may not go down well with some of our speccies but i feel we should just cut our losses now and sell to the highest bidder, If mylers head has been "spinning" with all the gossip surrounding who, where, when and why he should of come out and declared that he wouldnt hold any talks until the season is over due to the reds still chasing the play off dream, instead of allowing Offiah to take the mick out of our club, chairman and supporters. As we all know injuries can happen at any time and imho i feel that myler has already decided he wants to play under Tony Smith ,and if we are being offered in the region of 40,000 ??(I could be way off the mark) for myler i think we should take the cash and start our recruiment drive now. What do you guys think about maybe Ben Jefferies?

In response to the original topic discussion and not the argument with wire fans over the salary cap, to claify, Myler has signed for Warrington and will be a Warrington player next season. Fact.
How much we received in a transfer fee I don't know. Or whether we received any players plus cash, again I don't know. What I do know is he turned down an increased contract from Salford for £100,000 a week.
Although if it settles any arguments he only signed for them after the statement he published about his head being in a spin!?
IMO I don't think he will shine as much at Warrington as he has at Salford and won't handle the pressure under Tony Smith.
I think he should have learnt his trade a little longer at salford not because he owed it to the club but owed it to himself.
Good luck to the lad. I can't say I blame him if there paying him considerably more than the £100,000 Salford were offering him innthe updated contract , but make no mistake Richard Myler has signed for Warrington. Fact.
Haha. Yes £100,000 a year. For how many years Salford offered that im not sure or whether it was say a 3 year deal rising £10,000 a year finishing say at £120,000 in the third an final year of the contract as I have seen with other SL contracts.
The only detail I know and am 100% certain of is that not to long ago he signed for Warrington.
And will be licking Mr Smiths boots for 18th man spot if they sign any more Myler type's hehe. Sorry couldn't resist that last bit being a Red :/
