Brian Noble would be my choice to take over.

That will be the end of youth development at London far too much like hard work for Brian.

And tactically he's now yesterday's man, as his stint at Salford showed.

Hendo will do a good job for London.

The club has little chance of promotion in 2016 with current roster and staff.

A top Aussie coach, or John Kear, is needed, along with two big forwards.

Does Hughes go for and bring over another Aussie and continue the push for promotion? (Need to move quickly) Does he go with an inexperienced unproven coach in Hendo or go for a Noble type character?

I suspect this will really indicate his intent for this year.

But the club needs a lot more than just a first team coach.

Surely the ideal scenario is to go for both, let Henderson manage the team and then offer Noble a part-time Director Of Rugby type roll that fits round his media work?

An interesting concept.It has been tried at Halifax without a great ending,as both involved no longer coaching in the 3 leagues.

Paul Rowley would do a fantastic job down there.

Grima was a nice bloke, just a bit out of his depth.

Our real problem is defence......We don't have one!



Nobby would be my preffered choice, but I doubt Hughes would want someone competent, it's not in his nature.

Of the games you've seen this year, which areas of our defence do you think need most attention ?



Would you take on Noble at the expense off all the essential junior work that goes on, an area he apparently takes little interest in ?

Even better than the "Wayne Bennett will have to chose between Greg Eden or..." line I saw the other day.

Forwards need to create a platform and thats not happening.

Also some of our tackling is pitiful to behold.

Noble, yes I'd like to see him there and I'm not sure why that would be the death of developement, unless your expecting the Coach to also coach the youngsters...surely thats someone else's job anyways?

That said, lets face it, we can't afford Nobby, so it's merely what I'd like, not what I expect to get.

That's a thought - I'd forgotten about him. Certainly worth a try if he's interested.
