That Leuluai at Widnes is one of if not the poorest player ive seen in SL. He was average at Leigh aswell.

He's played really well recently TBF although I think if Widnes are going to progress as a club we need better players than Macgraff. A one year deal would have been sufficient with the option for another season.

That's the problem Salford will have in the short to medium term. It's a slow process, they'll have to have a few years of mediocrity before being able to challenge at the top. But if they can attract 1 or 2 big names and keep them for those few years then eventually they'll attract other big names. Morley is a good start though. It took Warrington a few years to start challenging after they got Morley and they were in a stronger starting position than Salford. If you said to me you can play for Salford alongside Ryan McGoldrick, I'd ask for more money than if you said you can play for Salford alongside Adrian Morley.

I'm sure Salford fans will relish a few seasons of mid-table mediocrity for a while though!

let's be generous and say £450,000 on those three.......combined age of 99 on 25% of your cap........

As you so obviously have your finger on the pulse as far as what players are earning then maybe you can share your pearls of wisdom and enlighten us all as to what the salaries are of the star laden squads at Warrington,Leeds,Wigan,St Helens,Huddersfield,Hull FC, because i am sure all those guys are playing for peanuts.

And just for the record,Francis Meli is not on 140K a year.Its only 70K a year and his wife gets 70K for washing the 1st team Kit.

So? All 3 are better players than anyone currently at Salford with the possible exception of Broughton. They're the kind of players they need. Experienced pro's to lead the team, on and off the field.

Morley will be on pennies even minimum wage i suspect for 2014. He will though see a massive pay rise come 2015 when he takes up his new role on the coaching team. HTH
