| Right, with the help of a friend employed by Opta, we've spent most of Saturday completing a time/motion study of the game on Friday to examine the time taken from the moment a tackle is started to fully completed by both teams.
Whilst I could bore you with every piece of information analysed, I will merely provide the summary information:
Average time taken by Bradford players to "roll away" from Wigan player after tackle made versus vice versa was actually 4.46% greater.
Maybe the wine and blinkers have been removed now love, or maybe the time of the month will end in a couple of days ......

Take another look at the incident, then apologise for being a numpty... The tackle ended up in his face, and he bounced straight back up....

On Sunday I spent the day with Kim Kardashian and she was telling me Sam Tomkins is a cheat.
About the same factual basis as your post.

| For me Tomkins is one of the best players in the league and Wigan one of the best teams.
We all read posts on here moaning about the loss of better players to Union or a host of negative things about officials and whatever... just enjoy it!
You would all soon moan if his move to Saracens ever did come off.

On a serious note SL is too small a pond for Tomkins. He might be loving beating up the rubbish in SL at the moment but there will come a time in the not too distant future where he will start to wonder about the NRL.
If he has any ambition it will be the NRL or Union next for Sam.

Agree with this. Sam is way too good for SL as it seems too easy for him. Playing against better defenses in Oz would make him an even better player. Would hate to see him stagnate in SL.

Not really, there'll be another one just like him along in a bit.
Was British RL really worse off for losing the likes of Jason Robinson and Andy Farrell to Union, or Iestyn Harris?
Players will come, go and be replaced by new young stars emerging.

| Bit different with Robinson and Farrell, they were at the end of their career - especially Farrell.
Tomkins going to Union would be a massive coup for the RFU

To be fair to the King he lived in an era where the NRL was the poor relation in terms of financial reward.
But the NRL is not where Sam is going, lets face it. It'll be good to see him on the big stage in the black of England tearing it up in front of 90,000.

I'm still not convinced Tomkins will make it as a test full back. He's done nothing in an England shirt so far apart from get thrown around like a rag doll.

| Sam is a massive success over here now, and would be a massive success in the NRL aswel if he ever gave that a go.
As for RU.. I cant see Sam going to the darkside but I have no doubt he'd be pretty good at that too.

I don't actually think he would be that successful in Union, not because of Tomkins but because of Union. His running game would not be utilised in Union and would be reduced to a kicker as a stand off/scrum half in union. It's the same problem Eastmond will face.

I'm not to sure about that. He was wrapped up far to easily in his previous games against NZ & Australia, even at full back where you would think he'd have more space. I doubt they were even giving him any "special" attention either.
