Who did they beat to qualify for the Four Nations? Exactly.
Wales have no current credibility as an international RL nation, and haven't had any since Rugby Union turned professional.

They beat France , the country that was in possession of the 4 nations spot , no matter what happens at club level , International RL has to remain on field performance based , ideally as competitive as is possible , and that is what we have got

They scraped a 1 point win against France, eh? WOW. Is that the very same France who finished last in the World Cup? The very same France who have been ditched as viable competitive opponents for England's mid-season test in favour of a joke game against a bunch of NRL Rejects? Sorry, EXILES
Wales had better discover plenty of Englishmen and Aussies with Welsh grandparents and be damn quick about it, assuming they are serious about restricting the opposition to winning margins of marginally less than 50 points come Oct/Nov.

1 Point , 100 points , its still a win , so unles you can suggest somebody else for the big 3 to play , it looks like we are stuck with them for the next few years , France will probably win the next Euro cup and therefore qualify for another go at us and the down under lads , thats whats called competition

| The RFL really need to go to town with this idea.
There should be a huge media launch down at the stadium over the next month.
Tickets should go on sale and should be a tenner if bought before the GF this year.
Tickets should be on sale at all the clubs, maybe even a competition for which club can sell the most tickets. Travel from all clubs.
Do not sell a single top tier seat untill the bottom tier has sold out.
Adverts on national TV at primetime with all the top players running around, see NRL advert!
A 'tournament ticket' for say £60 should see loads of people attend all the games.
Adverts at all RL grounds around the country.
HEAVILY DISCOUNTED TICKETS for big groups like local sports clubs and schools, drastic cuts like 100 tickets for £100 if you can sell them all!
Huge entertainment announced for the day, big band playing at half time etc. big opening ceremony for the tournament.
4pm kick off for time to get down to London and pre drink and plenty of time to get home afterwards.
This double header should be a sell-out, there is enough RL fans to do it.
Saracens got 40k, anything less than that would be highly embarrassing.

Sorry....but anything less than 90k will be a disaster......I know the debenture seats can't be helped, but any swathes of empty seats will be horrible.
I am all for a tenner a ticket to fill Wembley, but no matter what the RFL do, there really is only one group of people who can assure the place gets filled.......the RL community itself.

Well it depends how much the prawn sandwich seats are. 15,000 of them! No way can we will all those.
So anything less than 90k will not be a disaster. I hope it does sell-out but I am being realistic about the RL community can afford.
The 40k thing was in reference to RU. Anything less than 80k will look pretty bad for a huge international really. I think it will be more liked 60k though.
Even if it is abit of a flop we must stick with it because if we do then it will become the home of international RL and people will get used to making the trip down for an international fixture.

| 40,000 would be good enough for me
clearly a test foe the RLWC - if the quad nations draws well either the opening game or final will be at wembley which is something i agree with
i remember my good friend OD suggesting this very thing last year and many posters deriding him for it ....turns out he was spot on the money

when was the last time anyone, australian or english, got 90k for a game?? let alone a international!
as long as we set a new tri/4nations attendance record i'll be happy..that record being 44,385 for the game between aus & GB at suncorp in 2006...we should easily top that.

Several people have mentioned the club wembley seats. My understanding was that the club wembley seats covered several events (of which 1 rl game is included) plus PRIORITY for other events. So, given the challenge cup is the one RL event, surely any seats not taken by the club wembley holders for the double header by the deadline can be sold to other folk.

* Club Wembley International seat licence holders receive tickets for all England senior home games only.
