Just out of interest (and I know I'll need to know for next year), what would happen if one of the clubs granted a franchise from the championship, and it could still be two, finished bottom? Would that mean no relegation and so no promotion?

Apparently the Championships are being re hashed again at the end of this season , it is looking unlikely that anybody will go down depending on how many new Championship 1 ' franchisees the RFL decide can make the step up to the semi pro ranks , personally if they bring any more than 2 in it will be another RFL cock up
