Ben Barba for the first 20 games maybe but he's falling down the order now with his injury problems. Over the season so far Sam Tomkins talented play has been pretty consistent. As for Tony Gigot he's nowhere near Barba for attacking creativity and stat wise he's showing up as one of the worse full backs in that department. Seems to play well when the game really matters though. |

If he could have finished the season without a blatant lack of interest he would be, unfortunately his undoubted talent can not hide a clear lack of effort on his part, I don`t think for a second he will be at Saints next season, but on the last 4 or 5 weeks I think they would be better off without him. |

Did he score those 23 tries and assist in 22 of them over a couple of games?
The only on evidence so far you've produced for Gigot is his performance against St Helens, everyone has agreed he had a good game however his stats are abysmal when compared to Barba. |

Looking at the comparative statistics, on a seasonal basis Antoine Gigot has performed at a level below that of Benjamin Barba. Fouad Yaha has performed at a comparable level to Joshua Charnley and Thomas Lineham. A big pity for Catalans and France if Yaha goes to rugby union.
Regarding the CC final, the statistics show that Stefan Ratchford and Darryl Clarke are the danger men for Warrington. But Steven McNamara will know that, and hopefully with a very capable Michael McIlorum will prepare accordingly. |
