It was a brilliant, albeit cheesy, moment. I admit if it'd been Wigan I'd have probably muttered 'the cheeky b'strds' under my breath but it was funny as hell. Complaining would never even cross my mind.

Saints fans never bothered over the years when wire were Crap and for whatever reason sky kept seeing fit to air it and show us getting tore a new , that was pretty humiliating for a good 8 years, 3 times a season

I was sat in the stadium and saw it on the big screen and I was laughing, quality comedy I thought.

As said if i were a Saints fan I might not have been too happy, but I'd have been even more unhappy at my teams performance.
There's also a little bit of hypocrisy from the few fans who complained. As I bet they didn't complain when the shield was shown earlier in the game being unpacked in preparation to hand over to Saints.

I agree with the comments on the Grix injury. It was very very obvious a serious injury had occurred since you could see Grix's leg/foot pointing in a very strange direction. There was no need for a replay.
Personally I just can't watch those incidents anyway so I turned away (I know, I'm a wimp, I just can't watch!) but I don't see how it's of any benefit to the viewer to see it again.

Cannot see anywhere in the linked article that Skysports apologised.It seems Neville Smith just tried to justify why the LLS scenario was played out as it was.Thought it was comedy genius myself.

So viewers can look at the tackle for anyone to blame and then put it on social media obviously. I can remember some goon on here suggesting that Keith Senior deliberately broke Chev Walkers leg at Headingley. He soon disappeared though when his "theory" received no support whatsoever.

However, the look at what you could have won (this week) Bullseye moment before packing it away was one of the Sky RL highlights of the season.

TV is a form of entertainment and certainly RL falls into this category.

If Saint are so aggrieved about it, perhaps they need to show their players an empty box before their game with Huddersfield

I remember from various Cup Finals shots near the end of the now certain-to-be winners' colours getting tied to the trophy. Surely that must be just as humiliating for the team that is losing, so what are these sports doing to outlaw such sadistic practices, punish the miscreants, and offer suitable compensation to the thousands of fans who over the years, in many sports, must have been deeply and permanently traumatized by such inhuman and barbaric actions, that surely have no place in a civilized world etc etc

What's far more humiliating is when the beaten finalists are forced to walk up the steps and collect their losers medals whilst walking past the trophy they've just been beaten to.

Happens every year but not a squeak of protest from Saints fans. Which is ironic considering how many times their team has been forced to do it.
