| I don't think the schedule is TOO bad. Granted, it has minor faults (Cook Islands v USA being one stand out), but they're honouring the heritage of the game for instance, by having Rochdale play host to a Fiji game, given the large amount of Fijians that came to Rochdale in the 60s.
I also like the thought of having Ireland play the Australians in Limerick. Those Irish love a game of rugby regardless, and will turn out to see the world famous Kangaroos, not least to support their own.
They can't get everything right, the RFL, we know that much. But they've done OK here.

There is some good fixtures and choices, I can't deny that. But there's also some terrible decisions.

| I know they are trying to expand, but why are they taking a QF to Wrexham, the last experiment there failed miserably, if it was at the KC at least you would make some money.

| The sad thing about this is that, as far as I can see, with the Group A runners up playing at the DW the organisers reckon we'll lose to Australia in the group match.

| What's ironic is that if all these people who are so instantly critical of everything actually turned up to the RLWC games like the rest of us it would be a success.

| Hosting England-Australia (the tournaments biggest crowd puller) in Wales is absolute madness. This game should have been taken to either Wembley, Old Trafford, The Emirates, City Of Manchester or dare I say it even Twickenham. I can't see thousands of fans traveling down to Wales in November for a game that will be live on TV.
I also feel Doncaster/Sheffield must feel pretty miffed at missing out when grounds like Craven Park and Whitehaven get 2 games each.

| I am surprised they are playing England v.s Australia in Wales.
How many Welsh fans will be that bothered about England v.s Australia? This should have been at City of Manchester Satdium, it would have been a sell out and looked great on TV. Even if we get 40000+ at Cardiff, it will look average at best.
I really hope the final is at Wembley. Having it at Old Trafford tickets sales to the M62 corridor effectively. Get it at Wembley, showcase our sport. That is expansion, not having Cook Islands v.s USA at Bristol.
I think it's extremely tricky to get the venues right for these sort of games. Personally i'd have double hearders for the minnow games.
Glad to see games in France & Ireland

It seems an odd decision initially but Wembely/Old trafford will hold the semi final/final. They want to spread the big games (opener/semifinal/final) across different areas and Yorkshire doesnt have any sutible stadia.
The Welsh fans may be bothered about the Wales v Italy game which is on before hand and think the opportunity to watch England v.s Australia as well is worth turning up for.

| baffled by cardiff to be honest. I will travel but very surprised by it!
I don't like the fact the the semi final and final venue's still TBA. I mean it comes across pretty amateurish!
These venue's should be already put in place with the build up starting now. If London doesnt get a semi or final I wont be happy!

| I think Cardiff is a great venue choice for England vs Australia, there must be hundreds of thousand who have been there before and enjoyed the game and the experience. You can day trip or stay longer.
If England are to be in with a chance of winning the tournament they need to win in Cardiff, if you have any interest in Rugby League at all, you should be there. The same with the World Cup Semi final double header and the final itself. I would prefer more "must see" games. There were seven for me in 2008, only these three in 2013 feels a step back.

I appreciate your point, but RL is played in more nations than just England, Australia and NZ. The games involving the 'lesser' teams are likely to just as entertaining, if not more so. I know I will probably enjoy them more.

That's thanks to St Helens Council (useless bunch they are - now that Labour are back in). The Council said it didn't want to spend any money on having more than one group match because of 'the cuts' (like no other council has to make cuts!). That was in direct contrast to Warrington, also making lots of cuts (I work at Warrington Council at present), who fired in for the lot and got pretty much the lot!
What troubles me most though about Langtree Park getting the Australia - Fiji match is that our Chairman has decreed that we are the home game for Australia and as such we are supposed to be supporting Australia. Stuff that. I'm Fijian for the day!

Which games though?
The last world cup had evenly matched groups and all the games were ones i wanted to see. I look down the list and see missed opportunities. No England v NZ, no Samoa v Tonga, No celtic teams facing each other.
