singing how you hate the city you were born and bred in is just purely comical,yes we all know what it really means but it's still pretty stupid and embarrassing to hear it.its like giants fans who dont have time for huddersfield town singing we hate huddersfield,it's just plain wrong

they cant think of anything else meaningful to sing, thats why they persist in singing about Hull. Their own Home town

As a fan that generally gets plenty of songs started during games I hate the fact they sing this and have recently tried to change it to "We Love East Hull" but as these idiots would rather sing about our less fortunate neighbours than support their own team we are failing! The same with any anti-Hull FC song, why sing it when we are not playing them? The week before the derby fair enough but haven't our own squad got enough problems, wouldn't it be better trying to gee them up a bit instead of worrying about baiting the enemy?!

It won't change though they are too set in their ways and until the PA guy stops playing Tom Hark they won't stop singing it!

When people in Kingston Upon Hull talk about HKR 99 times out of 100 they call them 'Rovers'.

So you would accept that singing "We all hate Hull" would perhaps sound dumb to the high percentage of Super League fans that aren't in Kingston upon Hull who would generally call the two teams Hull and Hull KR?

That said - I don't hate Hull (FC). Chants at sports grounds probably shouldn't be taken too literally or seriously.

My problem arises when the song is sung. After Rovers score a try the last thing on my mind is Hull FC. The pure obsessiveness of some Rovers and Hull fans about the other team is rediculous.

Also it shows the new breed for what they are at Rovers (part timers) because the song was actually "WE ALL 'ATE 'ULL...SCUM" yet the scum part was dropped off once the East stand was 3/4's fuller than it was back when the song started!!! A clear indication of who we are talking about just by having the word "scum" in it!!

but no one refers to HFC while singing 'we all hull' !!
