Rovers are not a founder member of the RFL but I agree with most of what you say. I say let Rovers continue to bend the rules and see what happens in a few years time, when you will only be able to rely on English talent

we'll just go out and sign English players, if the RFL ever grow some balls and actually act to reduce overseas players.

That sort of suggests the dispensation is given to the player and not the club.

But you also didn't spend 59 pages arguing against it , did you ?

Neither are using it now. So it would be weird for me to be arguing against an exemption that Catalans and Castleford werent using. Catalans are currently at 8, Cas at 4.

If Hull KR were at 8 or 4 i wouldnt argue against their amount of overseas players.

But the RFL obviously dont see a problem with it , and as the RFL cannot do any wrong in your eyes , then surely they have good reason to allow it , lets face it we wouldn't want all clubs treated the same would we ?

They obviously do, otherwise they wouldnt have changed the quota rules with expressed aim of forcing clubs to employ fewer overseas players.

If you stop employing overseas players and develop your youth you get results like this one

Tell you what GF the best way of highlighting the contrast in progress made by Hull KR and Fulcrubronquins Experiment would be a Challenge Cup Semi-Final between the clubs - reckon you'd be looking at 8-1 support in The Kings' favour, despite Fulcrubronquins been (wrongly) a top flight club for approx 11 seasons more then us.

You do yourself an injustice roofs......I reckon a semi between the clubs would see 500 Quins fans and 15,000 HKA fans..and that would be if the game was at the stoop...

just a shame this thread isn't about fans...it's about overseas players......HTH
