What a wally, tries to criticise us over the announcement then proceeds to discuss the players "medical issues", contract negotiations and salary.

There is certainly a bit of Koukash in there isn't there toys out of the pram when someone else's money speaks louder than his. His comments of the players fitness really do smack of a big baby don't they? However although we all seem to be enjoying the ride at present we are moving around a bit and some of our actions seem to be a bit ad hoc at present. I'm just hoping these signings are linked to a potential new coach and that he is having a say in things if not then when one finally arrives he will be presented with a fete au comlet as far as players are concerned and indeed if we don't have a new coach in tow already our current actions might just put a potential one off.

Just going in record to say I don't think Lam would be a good fit for us.

I agree. He struggled with the Wigan job.
Less pressure at Leigh and he thrived.
Hope he’s not our next coach.

Surprisingly we only offered John Asiata a 1 year deal on an improved salary. So we were never going to have him beyond this season. Ah well, good luck to to all concerned in 2025.

Asiata is injured again. Out for 4 - 6 weeks. Looks like you won't be getting 3 years game time out of Asiata. £660K is a lot of money to pay someone to sit in the stands. But good luck to John, he's sorted out his family's future.

Where does this injury prone comment come from, ok he has had an injury or two this year and missed most of this season, but last season he played 28 games, season before 32.

Just about every player misses a few games through injury or has a bad season. Sure Fash (who has missed every game this year) hardly missed a game the last few seasons, does that now make him injury prone?

Derek is a clown, some of the details into the deal and JA are really poor, he should have just said Hull offered him a longer and better deal, didn't need to mention injuries etc. Think Leigh are worried about the future TBH.

Also not sure what the big deal is announcing a signing now, have never announced a signing in May before? We have followed the rules, other clubs have announced players, Burgess, JWH, McMeeken, it's pretty common practise and I'm sure plenty of other teams will announce signings from other clubs in the next few weeks.

Dodd announced for Souths, has anyone asked Beaumont if that's allowed?

Joking aside, they will be looking for a 7 too, so hopefully get one signed soon.

I think there is a player in Dodd and still young enough to develop, think the NRL is his best chance, if Souths appoint the right coach.

Why be so bitter? Players get better offers and move on, it happens.
