Very well deserved for Cas- their forwards ran rock hard all night and the backs were skilful. Im particularly impressed by Alex Foster who looks a real talent.

Glad Cas won to shut the absolute helmet up in the Warrington crowd who was whistling like a everytime Cas made an error.

Great performance. To say most Cas fans think we were having a poor season.... We could be 2nd in 2 week.

Very good game, well done to both sides, such a shame that coaches/players are reliaint on cheating to win points/games. The one with Hill has being picked up in recent times but is again ignored tonight, why? Consistency is more important than the rule itself.

I said Warrington weren’t as good as people were making out against Wigan and were still an average side and it looks like I was right. I’ve not watched the game but to lose to that Cas team with the injuries they’ve got is very poor. Outstanding win for Cas though given their absentees.

But we lost on tries scored.... That means Warrington were the better team. Just ask Saints fans from last year's semi.

Looks like all the teams backing up from the cup games last week struggled. wire, leeds and wigan all lost games they'd expect to win, saints eased past hull kr and Hull FC thankfully had the game against salford won at half time so didn't need to worry when their energy levels dropped

Leeds played a championship side who had 12 men for 70 minutes. Plus what about Huddersfield who also played in the cup ? Wigan were barely favourites against wakey + anyone with a brain would probably have backed Wakefield.

That result shows Cas has some great strength in depth. It's a bee now a reasonably good week for Yorkshire.

On a side note, I notice Powell and that Cas fan who only comes on here to slag refs off are being very quiet about the officiating?

Can't spake for the others but Leeds's race is run for this year and has been for a while. We'll still turn in the odd good result, same as most teams do, but unlike many seasons these won't be in the games that matter. A meaningless (for us) win next week against saints would tick the box.

Not sure that anything can be read into last night's wire - cas game - it was simply too far removed from a high-intensity, low-error fixture to draw any conclusions as to who has the better prospect of silverware.

Saints will burn out by the end of the season, just like Cas did last year.

The big problem with this is, despite your best attempts at trying to convince yourself otherwise, at no point have I said the words ‘Saints are back’ or any words to that effect. What I have said is ‘Saints are back playing well’ in reference to rival fans jealousy. Unfortunately for you there is a big difference between the two.

I took the reference as Saints were back to there entertaining style of rugby.

In terms of Saints being back to competiveness they havent really been away they are the only side in 20 years to be in every play off.

At the moment Cas, Wire and Saints are a joy to watch most of the time, if these teams finish in the top 3 hopefully it will rub off onto the other teams to play an expansive passing game.
