Featherstone Lions was Hardaker's junior club. His first senior club was Featherstone Rovers. That is probably the reason why Joel Caine was mistaken. But afficionados of rugby league in the UK know that Hardaker was indeed born in Pontefract.

To be fair he went looking for work and got stuck in defensively. Although they lost Penrith have a very impressive young side

I wouldn't say that. I thought that Zachary Hardaker was quite animated, he injected himself into the game in both attack and defence, and was close to a good try but muffed it (and as another wise poster noted, he should have passed the ball to his unmarked winger who would have scored). Far from being tedious I thought that Zachary was lively in patches.

Featherstone , pontefract , castleford its all the same there just part of Wakefield aren't they

Knottingley. As pontefract is the nearest hospital that's were most people in the area are born. Zac played at rockware juniors then moved to fev Lions, like a lot of juniors if they are any good tend to move to the bigger amuture clubs like fev Lions or castleford Lock lane
