| I have been informed that Sheffield Eagles have sold more season tickets for 2012 that any other year since we re-formed. I don't have any figures but it was a very good source.

| Leigh were on 718 last week at the forum. We need crowds of 1800 to break even under our new management, previously it was 4000-we get around 2300.

Jonny you really need to pay attention
718 was last years total, so far we are at 200+ , well down on last year, but no early bird offer, our adult ticket is double what Bradford are asking

| According to the fans forum, Trevor Barton announced:
78 adult STs
149 concessions
290 juniors
67 TDC members
It seems he misread the juniors amount, but Kieth Freer did say the amount last year was 600.

WERE asking. If you buy a season ticket now it'll be £187.
However, the club did announce a half season ticket offer at the end of last week. A 7 game ticket for £70 where you have to pick which 7 games you're attending (2 from Wigan,Saints,Leeds & Wire , 3 from Hudds,Cas,Wakey,Widnes and both Hull teams and 2 from Cats, Salford & London) or a 6 game ticket for £85 which lets you turn up for any 6 games you'd like.

| Wakey should be well up on last year, sold at least 4k season passes so far, maybe nearer to 4.5k now - a 300% increase on last year!
Guessing average attendance will be somewhere around 8k.

Well the Bulls have been pushing new ideas to turn round the falling crowd numbers they were having. There's been the usual nay sayers about the pledge schemes, but their negative response to the pledge scheme doesn't change the fact that for 2 consecutive years the Bulls have a guaranteed 10k tickets sold for every home game.

Tomayto/Tomarto
Either way good news all round, and with the travel subsidy - the Wakey faithful should become a bigger travelling army to boot.

| Broncos tickets are about the same as Quins last year. Don't expect much change down here unless the team has a good year on pitch.

| Widnes are not far of 4500 stronghold memberships (season tickets) and I think were looking for a 7500 average first year in.
Our away following is very good and we should take good numbers no matter which club we travel to.

Well done Widnes, in fact well done to a lot of clubs, strong demand for Super League in the heartlands

| Should be another good year at Wigan, the marketing team are doing some good stuff as usual.
First game you can bring a friend for free with a season ticket, this is against Hudds. Expecting 18-19k.
Second game against Leeds could reach 17k.
Game against Wire will be around 20k again due to the raised profile of that game.
We will have the 'Big one 4' which will have tv adverts etc. promoting the game, sure to be over 20k
Finally we'll have a game which will involve selling the North stand to local businesses, this has brought in 19k the last 2 years.
Saints game won't be as big as last season though. Sell-out last year but the game this season is the last of the regular season, the crowd will take a huge knock unless we need to win to lift the shield of get in the play-offs (god forbid).
Finally we will have one game linked to the Wigan festival of rugby where the thousands of kids competiting will all get offered tickets, this usually puts quite a few on the gate as well.
Will have sold well over 10,000 season tickets before the start of the season. The figure given on the e-ticketing system (which people have been quoting from) does not include the 700+ hospitality seats in the west stand, they are not shown on the system, there is a huge gap where these seats usually are, along with the boxes etc. adding all of these in will give a number around 10,500+ I reckon.

Wish I could say the same about Salford . Would be great if we could do some of the stuff you listed there, but it boils down to money which isn't in great supply at Salford to say the least.
I've heard 8000 as a target/breakeven number, although what's actually meant by that, I don't know. I think, even with the new stadium, we'll struggle to improve on attendances last season. Might push 8-9k for Wigan/Wire etc, but I reckon it'll be 4-5k on average. Most people in the surrounding areas don't know when/who the first game is. There should have been a big marketing push after last season had finished, but there's been virtually nothing. I think leaflets are going out next week, but the week before the game might be too little too late I think.

Easily the best supported season in superleague IMO

Other than the TV advert none of it costs the earth. The typical Salford excuse of 'we don't have the money to do it' just doesn't cut it IMO.

| If we had a bit more money, we could get a better marketing team and maybe do some things like Wigan. Saying that, they've done alright for the first game after today's announcement, hope it's not all our eggs in one basket though. We've probably got more competition (as in other forms of entertainment in general, plus football of course) in the surrounding area than anyone, barring London. Coupled with 30+ years of pretty much dross on the field, we're never going to have great crowds.
