Totally agree he is either suffering from burnout or his mind his elsewhere (NRL?). I think he tries to do too much, as you suggest tries to be a prop, captain and half back. Someone needs to reign him in or drop him for a few matches.

James Graham needs to stop whinging at the ref and realise that when he's not getting wound up by other, more experienced props, he's in the top two or three in the country.

Eastmond is clearly not good enough for super league.

100% agree mate. Give jonny 3 or 4 weeks at standoff and they will never look back. But how long will this take? Last 2/3 weeks Pryce and Wheeler have been injured, the chance to give Lomax a break has been there on a plate. But they have stuck in Gaskell who is no doubt promising but he is from Lomax's age group and has never been anywhere near the same class that Jonny is. FOR GOD SAKES SIMMONS PLAY HIM AT SIX!!! Eastmond and Graham have become like spoiled brats. It could be seen last night 2 or 3 times when Eastmond through a crap pass and caused a knock on he then preferred to go mental at the player who dropped the ball.

I think it's simpler than that. He thinks he's better than he is.

The sooner he stops believing his own hype, the sooner he will start being a good player again.

That's just another way of saying what I had written.

He tries to do much (thinks he is better than he is at distribution etc.), better to do what he got his name for (running the ball in hard and not moaning at everything!)

He needs to be dropped for a few weeks IMO.

You can see his heart is not in it and his mind is elsewhere,just p155 off to the dark side and we can concentrate on playing proper rugby.

one thing eddie definately didnt get right was claiming on friday night that warringtons last superleague game at the stobart was against widnes in 2008. i must have imagined the past several years in the championship.

He's been playing with an injury and having painkilling injections so far this season and whilst he is perhaps passing the ball too often at the moment if this means he avoids a long term injury by taking the ball up with his usual gusto every set then so be it. If he was to do 'what he got his name for' every week he'd likely suffer a Fielden-style burn-out before long, which would be of no use to either Saints or England.

If you knew James rather than just going off what you see on TV and believing other people's opinions you'd know it is not a case of him believing his own hype. And frankly if you had people trying to take your head off every tackle I think you'd complain once or twice too.

He needs to do his job by taking the ball up and not passing at every opportunity, if he cant do his job he shouldn't be playing. No team can afford a weak link.

I am well capable of forming my own opinion, and expressing it; I don't need to listen to the muppets on Sky or anyone else.
