Good signing Westerman, although gone off the boil a little in the past year or so, maybe a fresh start is what he needs to fulfil his sizeable potential. Not really sure he's taken the world by storm enough for anyone to justify actually paying a fee to get him whilst on contract. Still if it keeps the fans off the board's back for another 6-12 months, they'll consider it money well spent.

Westerman is another Richie Myler. Looks good in a lower league, but ultimately is overhyped once they move on.

They always seem to be the best thing since sliced bread until they move and then they suddenly aren't the player they once were. If Leeds get Hauraki, as is being rumoured, I'll be gutted as he has been a revelation for us.

Cas haven't done so well with regards to player movement. Losing Westerman, Shenton and Sargant will be big misses for them, that so far they haven't really replaced.

priority for cas is to get the stadium started, they need all spare cash for this plus with there being no relegation there is not the pressure on the field that there once was. most cas fans would sacrifice a season in the bottom 2 for a new stadium and residency in superleague
