If that turns out to be Salfords kit then that's my favourite of the lot so far. Although i think Wigans is superb!

New Saints kit. Not sure about the black piping but it's pretty good.

Hull FC's official kit is released on Sunday..but I'm hoping the design is similar to one of British Columbia, Canada's local teams kit...I was asked by a Canadian Hockey fan why a lot of RL kits have the V design...couldn't really think of an answer..but he is right though..we do seem to like the V design in RL.

or even the away kit looks smart...

That away kit would be a good Castleford kit.

I think the V came in during the war, to save on material...

New Hull FC Home Shirt:

Not my favourite Hull shirt. Always prefer hoops of some sort. And let's hope Widnes fans don't vote for the black shirt eh?

I think the overall vote (On the club's official Facebook page at least...) is that the fans don't like the shirt.

For me, the sponsor spoils it, the hull college and hull fc logo positioned wrongly spoils it, and the cut-off V spoils it.

5/10 from me....I'll still be getting one like!

Why?

the club puts out a v design once every ten years or so for the home shirt. the last one was in the 2003 season and it sold well

also read somewhere that the logos are not always the finished item at this stage - ie. they are put on quickly to keep the sponsors sweet at the launch. the later shirts feature the proper logo designs. not sure how true this is tho

Hull last had a V on their home shirt in 2010, not 2003.



I much prefer the 2010 version to this new one. I don't like how the Hull FC and Hull Colleges logos go over the vee.

That said, I didn't like last season's away kit when I saw the release, but I ended up getting it after seeing it in person because it looked much better. Hopefully it'll be the same for this one.

Quite obviously because if they do, both clubs will have a black home shirt with white chevron.
