That's a common tactic, you don't need two markers when defending on the line, they just get in the way. One marker and two men tight on the line to the ruck who get low and prevent a scoot.

Hopefully the amount of tackling the NZ'ers have put in will pay off in the second half and more gaps will open up & tackles will be missed.

NZ seriously don't know how to play Rugby League. They're trying to brawl their way to victory and are embarrassing themselves and the sport in the process.

Roosters tried to do it for every play the ball a couple of years ago, didn't they? Only problem was that the second player was going back and standing between the marker and the 10 metre mark and kept getting pinged for offside when players were running at him with the ball.
