I attended the game and there was no problem with the atmosphere - ok it wasn't electric but the game didn't warrant it. I think most knew the difference in class between the two teams and so were satisfied enough with the Welsh effort, especially considering that it was a genuine young Welsh team. The only thing embarrassing to the game is moronic, insular Northern posters like 'decleration'.

I love the fact that anyone who questions the official positive propoganda line gets abused based on where they are from.

How is the view from people at the game abusive? You need to grow a thicker skin. I was there and that description was spot on.

What was the crowd? I would take a lot of very positive aspects out of the game, if I was nobby noble I would take heart as well, the Crusaders certainly do have some decent material to work with, all in all not a bad game and a fair result. Shame about the utter lack of marketing though, no one knew it was on!

Why? I got exactly the result I predicted, The Welsh were well beaten and in all honesty always behind and chasing,as we suspected. They competed well in parts and gave a very good account of themselves, certainly in comparison to last year.
