You look at these guys and they all appear to have some Polynesian ancestors - that is the difference - you look at the Kiwis they are physically bigger stronger and quicker than any other international side - 90% of their players have some Polynesian extraction - it is simply hereditary - look at the guys in the world cup from Samoa, Fiji, Tonga incredibly explosive.

Look at the emerging talent in the NRL and very little of it is pure Australian - the majority will have some South Sea Island influence

There is plenty of talent in the NRL that has no Polynesian background.
The fact that Australia has taken in 100's of thousands of Islander immigrants over the last 50 years has a lot to do with the emerging players.

There is a correlation - if you understand the word - between the emergence of the current crop of top young talent and the greater influence in the game in Australia of the South Sea Islanders - Folau, Idris, Jennings, Luke, etc, etc

Look at the Aussie side:

Folau, Inglis, Kite, Hunt, Tupou, Hodges, Thurston, Civoniceva all of these guys will have Polynesian/Aboriginal heritage and if you look at the currently the best side in world the Kiwis that influence is even greater.

This could be just a period the game is going through where explosive power is important if not expect to see teams in the NRL with 70-80% Polynesian players. The Kiwis are unrivalled in both codes for raw power it is no surprise the content of players with a Polynesian heritage make up the majority of the team

Because their genetic make up is different - do Darren Lockyear and Israel Folau look like they have the same genetic roots? They were probably both born in Australia - but that is the only thing they have in common. Either explain why you think they are the same or accept you are wrong and move on
