He's potentially an above-average SL winger, but certainly not the saviour of RL from what I've seen so far. No sour grapes here, I made this point weeks ago.

Be honest, he has a long way to go yet but he is an outstanding finisher and blessed with blinding speed, he is potentially a star in the making,he is the type of player this country hasn't seen for a ver long time. He is something for every british RL fan to get excited about.

From what I'v seen of him he has got alot of work to do but he has all the attributes to be a very good player. The guy is like lighting and as a winger, if you have speed you are half way there.

He will be agreat player with the right coaching and right support.

Good to see some talent coming through at Wire, heard many good things about him from a couple people that know him. And i've been impressed from what I've seen of him. Doesn't look out of place at all and has plenty of speed. Can only improve IMO.

I don't recall anyone outside of their respective clubs getting that excited about either of those two.

The only winger since Offiah that would have scored that try down the wing in the cup against us.

From what I have seen, whilst Penny has raw speed and good finishing ability, his overall game is currently well below average.

Admittedly, he could improve, but I do not think the guy will ever become an international winger, and the hype the guy is getting is simply ridiculous.

But maybe I'm wrong... and he will keep Matt King on the bench next year as Penny is able to play all four three quarter spots.

Nope. I'll be basing it on his awful performance against Saints, where he looked so far out of his depth that he would drown in a toddler's pool.

Like I say, the kid has potential. There is no denying that, but I am not convinced he is as good as is being made out.

He didn't have an awful game against saints, don't seem to recall him letting us down despite being targeted.

I hope we're not going to return to the bad days of racial stereotypes when post arrival of Offiah every SL chairman rushed to buy black wingers because they all 'obviously' must be fast.
