Two years ago most of the posters on this board were saying Widnes were robbed, they do what is asked of them and now that's open to question. Can't do right either way. Best of luck Widnes hope you get the spot you're aiming for!

Yes, they RFL are stupid for ensuring that clubs wanting to move up to the top of the game are ready for it...

Without all the facts, I doubt you will get any worthwhile answers from posters on these boards. Any hypothesis that is put forward can never be proven and it can only ever appear to be correct because there is not enough evidence to disprove it.

In other words speculation on this matter is utterly pointless.

Better to accept it for now and wait until the information, needed for a debate with fewer requirements for conjecture, is available from Companies house. Then all the Chartered Accountants on these boards can mull over it and, after much rubbing of their collective chins, we may get nearer the truth of the matter.

we didn't, we increased our turnover while reducing costs, thats what created the profit



if you want to argue about how the increases where achieved then fine, but if your going to argue, at least do it for the right reasons

Yeah because history means when getting a superleague team

BUT - to misuse a well known saying - Superleague is temporary, rugby league is permanent....

And all you needed to do that was a ridiculous amount of help from RFL, unlimited player nationality restrictions and 6 players who were legally not entitled to even be in the country.
