can you honestly admit that your youth set up was perfect before you got bailed out with a merger i dont think it was i seem to remember hull having to sign a load of aussie rejects when they got promoted and not rely on there youth. we had to start from scratch due to a few years previous having to scrap academy and reserve teams from being on the verge of going bust. you on the other hand got a great big helping hand from the rl/super league and also when we scraped our youth policy you got the best pick of the bunch so how can you expect us to have a top academy when its in its infancy

We must come from different generations, quite possibly of lazy English, as I'd personally count the GF as a cup final - I'd also say the year now is 2010, 5 years a go is 2005 and in that year we won the CC. Well, no one's perfect, but I'd say the following age/appearance data from our first post-merger season is evidence that it was adequate:
Richard Horne age 18 25 games
Paul Cooke age 19 21 games
Paul King age 21 21 games
Craig Poucher age 19 12 games
Richard Fletcher age 19 9 games
Plus a few games each for Last, Parker etc.
And the following year a debut for Yeaman at 16.




Why not stick to copying and pasting stuff articles from Wikipedia that show Mason in a bad light and adding in Craig Fitzgibbon's name but spelling and punctuating it incorrectly?

After watching another amateurish England backline under perform it is clear Rovers having a couple more foreigners in their side than the rest of SL is the very least of the British games problems!
