The comment from you about Topliss delaying his death is just dumb and childish, if the club really truly wanted to mark his 10 year passing properly then his tribute shirt should’ve been the 2018 kit. It’s pretty simple, any anniversary whether it’s 10, 20, 30 or 40 years then the last number of the year is the same e.g. 1979 -2019, not 2008-2019. Not my fault that Wakefield can’t get their maths right and have a shirt that celebrates losing a cup final and a 10 year anniversary that’ll actually be 11 years.

Shirt was always gonna be mainly blue considering last two years were predominantly white and red. The club clearly decided to do a little bit of extra marketing with the "40 years since Wembley" thing. It's worked, miles more people at the launch than previous years and bigger sales.

Some people are never happy. Guy who whinges that clubs do no marketing carries on whinging when someone does. Make your mind up.

Always like the Catalan kits. Not really a fan of their recent effort.

To be clear, Topliss was Lance Todd Trophy winner in 1979 which is part of the reason the Wakefield kit is commemorating him in particular from the cup final 40 years ago.

I'm the same. Their away kits in particular have been really good for the past few seasons. Both of their 2019 shirts don't really do anything for me though.

Im fairly certain they are wearing it next season not to commemorate the ending of the fighting but to commemorate the signing of the Treaty of Versailles which i believe was in June 2019.

In reality, Cas' 3rd shirt could of been used in any of 2018, 19 or 20 seasons due to the time line (end of fighting Nov 1918, Signing of Treaty 1919, treaty taking effect 1920).

I'd be well happy with that shirt if I was a Trinity fan. Classy effort.



Believe Salford are going with Kappa this year and can honestly say I have no idea if that's a good or bad thing. Anyone know if they have a decent rep when it comes to rugby kits? We had 3 belting shirts last year and the home one was the best we've had in past 25 years IMO.

Wakefield kit looks like a Rangers scarf. Fully expecting Wires' kits to be rubbish now we're with O'Neill's. Their GAA stuff is good, but everything else they do just looks like cheap Sports Direct fodder.
